GardenonaRoll
Designer Gardens and the story so far
Antony Henn has been designing and creating amazing gardens since 1993. He and his family developed The Dutch Nursery in Hertfordshire selling plants and garden sundries through the eighties and nineties to this day.
Antony’s vast plant knowledge and experience has enabled him to present many gardening shows and hosts his own gardening phone-in with his brother Alex on the BBC.
“I have always tried to help people who know very little about plants to get the best out of their gardens. As a designer I have created many stunning gardens and always felt that lots of people would love to do it themselves but are too afraid to admit they know nothing about plants.

“Most people go to a garden centre and load their trolleys with what they think looks good, but when they get home they forget what they were told – planting them too close together and with no design theme or idea. The plants may grow but more often then not they are in the wrong place, may not have continuity of flowering and don’t necessarily compliment each other.
“Having heard many disaster stories of people wasting time and money, only to then totally losing interest in gardening, that’s when I thought of ‘GARDEN ON A ROLL’! How easy it would be if non-gardeners could use a template so they could guarantee success every time! The idea has progressed from there to where we are now and it’s really exciting!”
Garden on a Roll makes DIY gardening so much easier. We provide all the instructions and garden borders you need to make sure you can get your designer garden borders finished in no time.
