Ideal Home Inventor Award 2012

Gardenonaroll™ was one of the runners up at this year’s Ideal Home Inventor of the Year Award, announced at the Ideal Home Show by the Ideal Gadgets ambassador Suzi Perry.
Having been invited to enter the prestigious award, Gardenonaroll™ creator Antony Henn was judged against 200 other aspiring inventions, all of whom had sent their ideas and inventions in to the organisers of the Ideal Home Show.
Said Antony “We were disappointed not to have won the award but delighted to have been invited to take part in the competition and so brought Gardenonaroll™ to the attention of a wider audience.”
He added “Since the competition, we have had a huge number of orders so clearly visitors loved the concept when they saw it displayed in the awards area at the show.”
Antony Henn and the team at Gardenonaroll™ offer various other themed borders, one to suit every aspect or taste.
Included in the Border-in-a-Box is everything required to grow an attractive, healthy border. All the plants are provided, with a letter marked on the pot that corresponds to the letter on the paper planting plan.

Customers simply plant through the paper, cover the plant with bark or compost. The paper biodegrades in 8-10 weeks and all the plants are exactly in the right place. Perfect borders every time!
The winner of the 2012 Ideal Home Inventor award was The Olly, a smell producing robot. Other runners-up were SeNCit Care Monitor, a solution for families wanting to keep a discreet check on elderly relatives in their own homes and The LazyLucy which allows you to put food in the oven and simply leave it to cook.
